Earlier today the official twitter for the movie, She Wants Me, released two dates which the cast and crew will be celebrating the release of the movie. The release party is to be held at the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas on September 8th & 9th!

Actress Hilary Duff announced on Twitter today that she has closed a deal to star and produce in an upcoming television series.

“Ok it’s official! Very excited about my development deal with 20th century fox!! t.v. here I come! ,” she tweeted.

According to Deadline, Duff has signed a talent and development deal which requires the studio to develop a half-hour comedy vehicle for her, but if for whatever reason the project falls through, the studio can cast her in another comedy or drama series.

It’s basically a win/win for Hilary.

But TV isn’t the only thing on this new mom’s to-do list. In June, Duff told us that she was jumping back in the music studio. “I’m getting kind of nervous,” she dished. “Next week I have all these meetings set with different producers and writers. I’m excited to start that process and I’m so nervous.”

Hilary Duff is a mom!

The Cheaper by the Dozen star and retired NHL-player husband Mike Comrie welcomed a son Tuesday night, making them feel like the “luckiest parents in the world,” according to Duff’s excited tweets.

But obviously you only care about one thing (besides the good health of mother and child, that is): What’s his name?!

“Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie!” Duff tweeted, noting that he arrived “healthy” and “beautiful,” weighing 7 pounds, 6 ounces.

“We are overjoyed…He is surrounded by so much love!! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well.”

Duff, 24, and Comrie, 31, tied the knot in August 2010.

Congrats to the brand-new family of three!
