Barefoot and pregnant? So yesterday. Hilary Duff is a working mama-to-be!

The 24-year-old singer-actress headed into the recording studio Saturday with music producer Matt Squire. “ooooooo excitement ensuing… now!” she tweeted. “Recording all day.”

But will the Duffster—currently seven months pregnant—head back to work immediately after she and hubby Mike Comrie welcome their little one?

Nope, she’s going to enjoy some mommy time first!

“I think that after I have the baby I’ll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom,” she told E! News. “And then there’s no reason why I can’t put a record out and tour… It might take a little while, but I’m really excited about it.”

Whatever she decides, it looks like Comrie’s got her back. The dad-to-be held hands with Duff Sunday in L.A., and at one point, affectionately put a hand on her belly.

Can’t wait to meet Lizzie McGuire’s little one!

Hilary Duff has a baby on board and now perhaps a new album, too?

The very pregnant singer/actress, who was all smiles while leaving Pilates class on Friday in Toluca Lake, Calif., seems to have been inspired by her soon-to-be motherhood status and hit up the recording studio the day before.

“@matt_squire ooooooo excitement ensuing …now! recording all day!” the star, who’s 7-months-pregnant, tweeted Thursday.

“Such an amazing session with @HilaryDuff yesterday!! Xcited!!!!!” music producer and writer Matt Squire tweeted at Duff following day.

The 24-year-old Lizzie McGuire actress and her hubby, NHL player Mike Comrie, 31, are expecting a baby boy this coming March. While she “can’t wait” to meet her son, she’s been keeping an eye on her music, too.

Back in October, Duff explained to E! News what’s in store for her career. “Before I got pregnant I was thinking about making a record so I still want to do that,” Duff, whose most recent album, Dignity, was released in 2007, said.

“I think that after I have the baby I’ll want to sit still for a few months and learn how to be a really good mom, ” she continued. “And then there’s no reason why I can’t put a record out and tour…It might take a little while but I’m really excited about it.”

I posted this on twitter yesterday early in the day but now I’m posting it here. Hollywood Records how just released Hilary’s Dignity Tour on DVD on iTunes for $9.99! The show runs for 1 hour and 20 minutes of pure Hilary music fun. At this point I’m learning that this might only be available for United States iTunes users only. I encourage you to find a way to buy it if you are not from the United States instead of downloading it elsewhere. Let’s support Hilary by buying it!

It is official everyone. When Hilary’s attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival a little over a week ago, Hilary confirmed a few projects we all want from her! From writing a fiction book, to new music, to new bigger roles! You can watch the full interview below and I’ll keep up to date with her new projects for you all!

It’s been forever since I’ve done a Video Thursday! I made sure I wouldn’t forget it this week. This week on Video Thursday we start off with a new version of Stranger! You can purchase the new version on iTunes I believe. 2nd video will be the first version so you can compare. To keep things in the music scene I threw in a rare video from The Most Wanted Tour and a megamix done by a fan. But I did throw in a funny young Hilary doing a Subway commercial. Enjoy!

Hilary was first spotted on the set of Gossip Girl wearing a orange dress and grabbing some food to eat on break. Later that day she was spotted attending Britney Spears concert The Circus Starring: Britney Spears in NYC. I’ve uploaded 44 HQ images of Hilary on set and 10 HQ of Hilary attending the concert. Hopefully we’ll see a video? We’ll see.

Hollywood Records knew they did wrong last year when they decided to release a “best-of” including Hilary Duff’s biggest hits without her approval; sales were low because of the absent promotion. But now, they seem to beg for pardon.

They will be releasing another “Best Of Hilary Duff” including a different tracklist (that is rumored to include songs like ‘Weird’, ‘Hide Away’, ‘Happy’, ‘Burned’, ‘Who’s That Girl?’, ‘The Getaway’, ‘Gypsy Woman’) and the first single off of the album will be “Holiday”, a song Hilary recorded before Hollywood Records decided to go for a best-of in order to finish her six-album contract with them and that the fans really liked.

A video for “Holiday” will be shot in “Hawaii or on some very beautiful island” according to a Hollywood rep who also said that “even if Hilary’s contract is over with [us], we want to re-release the compilation as a ‘thank you/sorry Hilary Duff!’ because since you’re gone, sales have been disastrous and we really want you back!”.

The Depeche Mode-sampling hot 2008 single “Reach Out” (featuring world-renown rapper The Prophet) will be sent to radios again alongside “Holiday” which also will be played on radio (the first Hilary Duff song to make it on radio since February 2007′s mega-successful “With Love”).

Hilary Duff said she “had nothing to say except for the fact that she will be filming ‘Holiday’ for the fans because they’ve been more than supportive no matter when and why”.

Who knows if this story is true or not, but if it is I hope Hilary does it and I hope Reach Out and Holiday make it to radio stations all over.
